I would like to surprise my father with tickets to a Red Sox game on Father's Day. My problem is that I know little about the best teams, seats, ways to get good prices on tickets. I would like a weekend day game. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance, Kim

Kim, Tickets are available at the box office for most games. Better seats can sometimes be had from people selling tickets in this file (see the FOR SALE note). As for weekend day games, many Saturday games are now played at 5:05, but most Sunday games are at 1:05. I think the following are good games that most fathers would like: Sunday, June 1 vs the Yankees Sunday, June 8 vs the Indians Sunday, July 13 vs Toronto (especially if Clemens pitches) Sunday, September 21 vs Chicago. Unfortunately, none of the Braves games will be played in the afternoon. Jim |
