My Customer has some Box Hill DLT tape drives they would like to
put under contract. They are DLT IIIxt 15/30gb. Are these drives
supported ?
Some drives are rackmounted in a Mod Box 5000 and one is a tabletop
model, MB5012. They are all connected to Sun systems running Solaris.
Any help would be appreciated.

Supported by what? An operating system, a specific application, MCS? I know my product doesn't support them (MRU). | |||||

Supported by MCS for Hardware service only.

I would rather you left the word "supported" out altogether.
"Supported" in the computer world implies we take some technical
responsibility for a product; we do dont we, simply "service" it.
