| Maybe. If they devices are SCSI-2 compliant and you can get
any cable connector differences worked out, they will probably
work. It is unlikely that the system group or the Digital
UNIX group has qualified such a configuration, so if it doesn't
work, the customer is on their own to figure out what the
problem is. On Digital UNIX before V4 they may need to add
entries to the device recognition tables in /sys/data/cam_data.c
for the drives. The file is reasonably well commented and has
many examples. This will require a kernel rebuild and reboot.
On V4 and later they can edit /etc/ddr.dbase with much the
same information (different format). The manual page for
ddr_config should explain how to update the file.
