Need Assist,

Have a customer who mistakenly initialized his data tape a 
TZ87, there apparently is an urgent need to recover the 
data that is still on the tape.

Need some direction;
01->is there anything we have in a canned utility that can help?
02->if above is no, what would it take to get the right group
    involved?

This request has been posted in the OpenVMS notes file as well.

Any suggestions are welcomed.

	There is nothing Digital can do. The TZ87 writes an end-of-data
marker when data is written. A Standard TZ87 will not cross the marker.
So, you need to contact Quantum or a third party data recovery company.
