Hi,
One of our customers is trying to use an "Exabyte IBM 7208-001" tape on
OSF/1 V3.2 41. The "file /dev/rmt0h" fails with the following message:
/dev/rmt0h: character special (9/5122) SCSI #0 TZK08 tape #40 (SCSI ID #5)
error = 0/30 offline
We rebuild /dev/rmt0h with MAKDEV tz5 command, but there is the same problem.
What is the problem ?
