2456.3 | tz877 how to rev firmware ck on unix | KYOSS1::LUIZZA | | Wed Mar 12 1997 20:05 | 18 |

I have a customer tz877 that has had the tz87-ax replaced 3 times that
I know of. I'm guessing that the new units have been coming in with the
latest firmware but can't tell how to find out what actually it is in
the unit. It is on a A8400 system off the KTFIA port and I'm not able
to get DEC unix system down often. Any way from software to be able to
tell what rev the loader is at?
The last unit tz87-ax was swapped out because it ripped the leader out
of a cart and swallowed it into the tz87-ax. it would not come out of a
loading condition even after multiple resets.
While I'm in here is there any recomended cleaning on the cart loader
assy rollers/gears ect? just figured that after time something must get
worn or slick on the front loader section of the unit.
