2440.1 | TZ877 with TA867? | CSC32::KING | Fri Feb 14 1997 23:03 | 8
This seemed like the best place for my question. Here at the CSC, Colorado, we got 2 new TZ877 tape loaders (p/n TH4EA-BP). The adapters with these are TA867s however (p/n 70-28868-01). Will these work together, or do we need a TA877 to use these as TZ87 devices? Peter

The TZ877 is already a TZ87 with a 7 slot loader. The TA867 is a TZ867 (TZ86 with 7 slot loader) with a TA/TZ converter. I don't think the converter was ever sold with anything but the TZ857 and TZ867. I'm guessing that you have TZ877s that you want to connect to the K.sti or K.si of an HSC or a KDM70. Find a SCSI adapter instead. |
