Tape labels on certain types of magazine feed units are a problem. I
have a bunch of TLZ7L's and TLZ6L's that have such a close gap when the
tape is loaded in the mag that depending on how thick the paper label
is that they put on the car it causes drag on feeds. Depending on what
kind of labels they use and where they put it physically on the
carttridge may also cause the label to curl up and back. This situation
cause the thicknes to be doubled and drag from the glue on the label on
feeds.
I wonder what kind of numbers on returned unit are seen for cart jams
or feed errors during backups?
Is there any written don't put your labels here warning that we can
give to customers that insist on doing this? Naturally we give them a
bill for a jammed cart if the label is stuck in the magazine.
