Beautiful campground. Took the kids there many years ago. Always had
a great time, many wonderful memories. Remember the people who ran it
were very nice. If I remember correctly, if you want to rent a cabin,
you need to do that early in the season. They fill reservations very
quickly.

I found http://www.hermitisland.com/ using a simple Alta Vista search. The place sounds pretty nice. I might check it out myself. Looking at the map, it must be on the other side of Casco Bay from Portland. I was hoping it would be closer to Portland... Any good (mountain) biking nearby? -Jeff | |||||
