Thank you for your insight into the vindictive nature of Andy 
Grove and Craig Barrett, and for the implication that working for 
Intel was such an unpleasant experience.  I'm sure all your

Taken out of context, it's kind of hard to see the humor in it.

Who are Tim's "readers"?  Was that last line a jab at him?

Tim seems to be a guy who worked at Intel for 12 years and he
was apparently trying to eulogize Barret's and Grove's business
dealings and was trying to be convincing about how DEC will
have problems in the future with the lawsuit (based on this experience at Intel),
He missed how his experience could be interpreted against him as Tony did.
If you don;t find it funny that is OK, people see things differently.
