Hi Ive been running a marine tank now for 5 months and what fun it is. A couple of month's ago I bought a cleaner shrimp as I always enjoyed watching them in the fish shops The original shrimp I brought had a parasite attached to its side which I did not notice until I got him home and put him in the tank. I imeadeatly rung the shop who said "no problem" bring him back when hes dead ! Well the shrimp lasted a week and spent most of his time hiding and towards the end of the week stopped eating. I returned the dead shrimp to the shop and picked up another one half expecting to go through the same process again but from the out set this shrimp was different he was almost tame at feeding time he runs out from behind a rock and grabs as much food as he can and almost fights the other fish for it. I dont have meny fish a couple of damsels and clown. I now feed him separtely by hand and he's quite at home searching over my skin for parasites and things. my original perception was that most shrimps were hard to keep shy difficult to feed and night active mine is almost the opposite to this. Richard
