Coming in very latein the conversation...
There are no such things as "australian shepherds"..
Australia has a 'blue' cattle dog, or blue heeler which is a smokey
black/grey and white spotted/smeared colour
and a Kelpie - which is used primarily as a sheepdog. kelpies are
generally a reddy brown with tan markings.
My BC is black and white, but at the club there are all the colours
mentioned in .29
There are also two kinds -a thinner faced 'working' dog likemine and a
broad headed kind that appear to be 'show' dogs - least that is how it
looks to me - but an acknowledged non-expert like me, how'd Iknow?
