Yes, the AlphaServer 300 can run OpenVMS Alpha V6.2-1H3. In general, for questions like these, see http://webir.das.dec.com/ (WebIR), or see the "[OpenVMS] CPU Operating System Versions and Release Dates Table & Flowchart" document available in COMET, and referenced by VAXAXP::VMSNOTES note 9.17. (The AlphaServer 300 product management team neglected to include this information in the various materials.) I've submitted an update to the abovementioned document, and when (if) it is accepted, I'll post a new copy in the area referenced by note 9.17. |
