    Hi there,
    
    I've heard this works, but is not yet supported, but was wondering what
    issues are involved in attaching a TZ89 to a HP-UX 10.x host? I know
    that there are HP-UX "bits" required to support TZ88/DLT4000 on this
    platform, I was wondering if these bits work with the TZ89/DLT7000 or
    if there was something more fundamental to make the combination work.

Hello,

	Digital Storage MVD Engineering does not support the
installation of a TZ89 tape backup unit on HP-UX. Hewlett 
Packard's HP-UX does not support DLT7000 drives. It is NOT 
recommended for a customer purchase; since it is an untested, 
unsupported configuration.
