I've checked KZPDA can be used on AlphaServer1000A, however, there is no internal cable part number for AS1000A internal storage device. I'm trying to use the integral FWSE SCSI-2 controller to drive only the CD-ROM and tape device; and having an extra KZPDA for all 7 hard disks. The internal 68-pin SCSI connection on the side of the KZPDA is the same connector as is used elsewhere inside the AS1000A. In other words, same cable as in the SOC for internal cabling (PB7* kits). Jim |
