Customer query, he wants to compare a VAX400-500 with a
Alphaserver 4100-5/400 in Vups, Specint or whatever is used
to compare systems. The Alphaserver and VAX are running the latest
versions of VMS.

One wonders what this has to do with storage. A DIGITAL AlphaServer 4100 5/400 is a whole lot faster than a VAX 4000 model 500 -- at least as far as computes go. I'd venture to say easily 10 to 1000 times faster depending on the particular operation. What application are we talking about? | |||||
