Hi, I have a customer who is using KDF11 (m8186) proccessors for his own hardware application the m8186 cpu with on the backsite printed 5013326-d or 5013326-h works ok , but when using a cpu with 5013326-c on the back the system stops afther a few seconds. what is the difference ? greetings,arno

I would suggest a better notes conference for this question is PROXY::PDP_11 However if my memory serves me correctly the M8186 module originally only supported 18 bit addressing, it was not until the rev of the M8186 got to rev C, I think, of was it above rev C that the full 22 bit addressing was supported. Please try the PDP11 notesfile to see if you can get confirmation of this. Regards, Colin S. |
