I have a customer, ICI Americas, a spin off of Dupont, that has had a head crash on their RA60. I know a couple of packs are GONE but I plan to inspect and clean all the others. What I need is a source for, or the name of the chemical compound that we used in cleaning packs back when DIGITAL was in the disk pack cleaning business. My cost center still has one of the disk inspection and cleaning units in logistics. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me. Larry

I have received mail from John Kilroy indicating that RA60's are not to be cleaned, only inspected. The head flight distance is far too low to safely clean these packs in the field. I really appreciate his response. Larry McGee |
