Anybody got some good RA90 parts/drive to spare?
I am down 1/2 of my system disk shadow set, on the cluster I use in the lab for
problem reproduction. If anyone has an HDA or ECM they do not need send me mail
so we can move it to SHR3 ;^)
I know, your probably asking "Roger, why you of all people running on an RA90?
Why not replace it?". Well, when you test/screw with DSSI and SCSI disks all
day, and your system disk happens to be on the same bus as the drive your
testing, it's REALLY easy to inadvertantly use your system disk as a SCRATCH
drive ;^(
SO, I have all my critical stuff shadowed or SDI based drives. ;^) But, after a
few years you start to run out of parts.

| We've got a cab with six RA90s in it. They were working just fine
as of the day we unplugged them (at least six months ago). The
corporate dump truck is coming on Thursday to haul them away. I'll
be out of town after tomorrow (Tuesday). Please call/write before
4 p.m. Tuesday if you want the disks. I'd be glad for them to have
a second home!
