Is it supported the RAID Array450 connection thru DWZZB-AA to HOST? (AlphaServer, Sun-ULTRA... they have Wide-SE SCSI connector) I also want to know SWCC will work well or not. Thanks in advance, Hirofumi Hosoyama

| 6538.1 | DWZZB should work but why? | JULIET::SMITH_P | Wed Apr 02 1997 08:22 | 11 | |
The RA450 interface is FWD SCSI and supports both the supplied PTI
adapter (for Sun), KZPSA for Alpha and the Sun FWD Adapter. I guess a
FSE adapter through a DWZZB would work but why use it? use the proper
adapter and all is happy.
SWCC supports all Digital platforms and the Standard MVD ones through a
WNT or WIN95 GUI and the appropriate agent residing on the Host
connected to StorageWorks products. The currect shipping version of
SWCC is 1.1B.

Thank you Paul;
My Customer want to save (PCI,S-bus)slots at their server.
And also FWD SCSI Adapter is more expensive than the DWZZB in Japan!
If the RA450+DWZZB works well, they becomes happy.
