Are the TLZ9L and TLZ09 tape drives supported under INTEL WNT? No documents, except for a small blurb in the TLZ09 Sales Update indicating a jumper could be changed to allow use in an INTEL environment, are clear on INTEL support. BTW, post-sales in Atlanta told a customer it is not.

You can check the Steve Peters "tapes on NT web pages" at HTTP://dtb13.shr.dec.com/tapes/nttapes.htm You will find Windows NT 3.51 with service pack 5 using the Sony 4mm driver works and is supported with the TLZ09. Windows NT 4.0 using the standard 4mmdat driver works and is supported with the TLZ09. The TLZ09L is not supported on Windows NT 3.51 *** NOTE: the web page is a little out of date here *** Windows NT 4.0 with service pack 2 works and is supported with the TLZ09L. Steve Peters |
