    Hi.
    Is it supported to use the following :
    KZPAA --> BN21N (50-68 pin cable) --> 16 bit personality -->
    BA356-KC --> RZ28D-VW's.
    
    I'm asking because this istallation (2 x Alphaserver 400 ) was shipped
    with KZPDA's and BN21K cable and this adapter isn't supported.
    One system is running Unix V3.2C,the other VMS.

As best I know, the BN21N doesn't terminate the upper 8 bits of the wide 68 pin connector, so the system may or may not see the wide disks in the BA356. On the other hand, the personality card may terminate it correctly and handle it, but this is not certain. I think the correct way to handle this is: KZPAA --> BN21H --> 8 bit personality --> BA356 You should be able to put wide drives in the BA356, even with the 8 bit card...
