I have a DSSI based mixed cluster in which I've added an HSD30..but only the 2 2100's can see the hsd30 and its disks...why cant we see the HSD30 from the workstations? The 2100s must serve the HSD30-connected devices to the cluster. Is the MSCP server loaded and active? Is the allocation class of the HSD30 non-zero? stephen

Stephen, The MSCP params are as follows... MSCP_LOAD 1 MSCP_SERVE_ALL 1 ....BUT...the allocation class on the HSD30 is 0... Paul

Making it non-zero should fix the problem. It should match the allocation class of the two 2100s. stephen |
