6372.0. "KZPSA cnfgdiag info" by JGO::POLFLIET () Tue Feb 04 1997 03:27
Hi,
We repair kzpsa field return modules. For that we need info on the
cnfgdiag program.
- what do the entries in the hardware and firmware detected
errorlogs mean (AFPR, AFAR, param[0], etc)
- what is powerup test 1, what is test 2, etc.
what subtests, errorcodes, etc.
- how can I change the hardware revison displayed by cnfgdiag.
Also is there any technical info on the kzpsa??
Thanks for any help, pointers, etc.

Come on guys !!!!
If we don't know how to change the hardware revision (the one you see
when you type show device in srm) we can't send them to the field.
(they will think it's below rev).

| Did you try asking the engineer listed in the option/module list for
this info? A notes file is an unlikely place to find info this
specific... And the responsible engineer is unlikely to be reading it.

The answer is that you cannot change the hardware revision in the
field. That is installed as part of the boot firmware at manufacturing
and cannot be updated.
