HI,
Since 2 months, at a customer site, sometimes when a compact tape III DLT is
loaded into a TZ86-TA all leds blink and the take-up leader is "free" .
The solution is to reconnect the leader of the TZ85-BX or to swap it .
This symptom is not present with old digital compact tape III (not DLT) .
I have the serial number of 2 tapes : 13080 SH444M7336 15, 63436 SH638M5013 25.
These tapes have already been used one ot two times without problem.
What are the differences between the old and the new compact tape III .
Is there a known problem with the new one (marked DLT) ?
