Victor,
I have similar doubts re V60, but (it seems) for different reasons.
I entered an article in STKHLM::MAGTAPE Note 3627 outlining what is
only a suspicion at this point.

My scenario:

Customer has a dozen TZ87-VA running on multiple systems. A colleague
updated ALL drives to V60 some 3 weeks ago - since then, 2 different
drives (on different systems) have failed with Green LED ON, and
Amber LED Flashing - and the TZ87 Technical Manual does NOT document
	that combination of LEDs.

The first occurence had my colleague re-power the unit - fault went
and drive used for about a week, then a repeat failure, so he swapped
it out. I was then called to a different TZ87-VA with same symptom.
When I got there, the drive was fine, and we were able to load and
use a tape. My thoughts were that the controller may have sent a
SCSI reset that may have re-initialised the drive.

I powered OFF/ON the TZ87 anyway (to be sure, to be sure....) and it
has been working happily nearly a week. Time will tell just what
	will happen.

At this point, we are still running V60 - will update as we know more.

Just wanted to add my $0.02 worth - its not worth much more at this point, but
wait a week - the value could go up !!!!!

I, too, would be interested to hear of any others who may have had V60 concerns.
