The KZPSA controller does not support this signal; true?
The KFTIA/qlogic adaptor does support this signal.
Which controllers actually pass this signal on to the
host OS?
From reading the qlogic/isp1020 code (Digital UNIX) this
appears to be signaled to the host OS via an interrupt. Is
this true of other controllers that pass this signal on?

Correct, the KZPSA does not support this or any of the FAULT BUS
signals.
