Gim, In your visits here to CXO you've probably met them - Bill Miller and Kevin Lonergan. I've forwarded your reply to them, so you probably will get a direct reply. (I think they are back from that vacation, but Bill was out today tending a sick child!) However, there's been such a low demand for the SBB BBU, it may not even be an active part anymore. The OEM version is the same as the on-base but in a different color. There's been a renewed interest in a battery unit. It appears that flushing the cache in (future or OEM) controllers may be simpler than trying to backup the cache. Having a "AC Going down" signal would be nice. Gim |
