I've just submitted an updated V7.1 & V6.2-1H3 Cluster SPD - 29.78.15 It should appear on IR and the Web in a couple of weeks. It documents support for: Up to 8 nodes on a Memory Channel (previously only 4 were supported) Up to 12 shared SCSI buses in a system (previously only 6 were supported) Use of E3 between FDDI switches (previously only T3 & ATM were supported) DSSI & SCSI cluster support for the AlphaServer 800 It also clears up some CIPCA adapter obscurities: (1) Mixing CIPCA and CIXCD in a system is only supported in V7.1, not V6.2-1H3 (2) Minor clarification of how many CIPCAs are supported in each system (specifically the 2100 and 4xxx) Also, don't forget to get the Memory Channel TIMA kit installed on all Memory Channel clusters. And there's a different TIMA kit that provides Memory Channel support for the AlphaServer 1000A/5. This stuff will work its way into the Systems and Options Catalog at the next printing.
