    Hi all,
    
    I have a strange problem with backup operations on a shadow set.
    The cluster is a 3-node cluster with a 2100A 5/300, a 2100 4/275
    and a 1000 4/233 with OpenVMS 6.2-1H3.
    
    The disk are connected over two DSSI busses with HSD30.
    On the HSD30 write back cache is enabled.
    no preferred path is set.
    
    Now the problem description:
    
    Every nigth the customer takes 2 backups of a two-member shadowset to 
    other non-shadowed stripesets. One before some updates on his databases
    one after this updates. Before taking this backups, he shuts the 
    database down.
    Every member of the shadowset is a 3-disk stripeset made of RZ29s.
    
    The first backup needs about 1 hour, the second about 2 hours !!!!
    But the data hasn't increased !
