Hi, A customer is having trouble serving disks from a newly installed Alpha to the rest of the cluster (vaxes). The configuration is as follows - 1 x AlphaServer 1000A running OpenVMS 7.1 integrated scsi controller 3 x mv3100 running OpenVMS 6.2. The Alpha can see the vax served disks ok and can see its own disks but none of the vaxes can see the disks served by the Alpha. The MSCP parameters are set up and the allocation class is "7". Could there be an issue with the mixed versions of OpenVMS ? Any ideas on this ? Thanks Royston UK CSC

Has the V7.1 ("Redhawk") compatibility kit been applied to the V6.2 nodes? If it has, please post the SYSGEN> SHOW/CLUSTER and SHOW/SCS values for the AlphaServer 1000A and for one of the MicroVAX 3100 systems. |
