For an existing customer we are having problems in configuring optical containers and running the 'dascached'. The system setup is as follows- 1. Two (2) 2100 5/250 in DECsafe configuration. Digital Unix 3.2C LinkWorks 3.0.7 LinkWorks Mass Storage 3.0A OSMS V1.4 DCE Runtime V1.3 Pathworks V5.0 2. RV730 with two drives. One 2.1 GB disk (advfs) as optical cache. 3. Container name 'GHBCONT' mounted on / The problem we have is we cannot get the dascached to work on it. However, 'dasmigrate' is able to work correctly. Following is the way we created the container and the optical - dasaddcont -c GHBCONT -m WO -s /secondary -v / vladdvol -f /dev/jb0 GHBCONT.00 GHBCONT.01 We tried using 'dascached -i0' to start and flush immediately without success. Can you please help on the problem.
