Has the maintenance policy been established for VXworks V5.2x, my
customer wants to get V5.2C, how does he go about getting the updates?.

If they're already running some flavor of V5.2, the part number to get
an automatic update contract for the host media kit is QT-50HAA-E8.
They'll receive V5.2C automatically when it's available.
If they're running some flavor of V3.2, they need to update to V5.2
first and then get a media update contract. The V3.2->V5.2 jump is not
really an update. There's a special process they have to go through
because of the way V5.2 is licensed comapred to V3.2. Price incentives
for this update expire at the end of February. It would be best to get
it done now.
If the customer really wants V5.2C, they should consider applying to be
a field test site. Otherwise, they'll get V5.2B. This V5.2C field test
starts soon. Send mail to HELIX::VXWORKS with the information.

Probably not. I don't think QT-50HAA-E8 is orderable by internal sites.
If you want a copy of V5.2B for yourself, see note 215.14. We'll send
you the CD in the mail. Then, after V5.2C ships you can request that as
well.
