I am looking for a porting guide that can help explain some of the issues in porting code from Alpha NT to Intel NT? My Customer has recompiled their application from an Intel Vis C++ code base to Alpha with Risc Vis C++. On an Intel Pentium Pro 200 the test ran in 20 seconds. On the Alpha ev5 433 it ran in 2 minutes. They strapped on performance monitor and they are seeing 600,000 alligment fixups per second. I am also worried that they are using floating point emulation and having problems in the FP area. [Posted by WWW Notes gateway]

There's a terrible echo in here.
