Could you please double-check for us on the wording of your base note?
I am referring to your statement that:
the 'secret' be told
on February 2.
A couple of the Medjugorje WWW sites do mention the monthly "opening
up" of Mirjana's visions to those at Medjugorje on the 2nd of each
month, and they also mention that everyone PLEASE pray for unbelievers
on the 2nd of each month.
They do NOT mention anything about the "secrets," though. And as you
can imagine, I would certainly want to know if something in this
area was beginning to change!

| Betsy, thanks for prompting this confirmation because it needs to be
accurate. I made a few phone calls and here's what I found. The
friend who gave me this info received a fax from Sr. Emmanuelle who
lives in Medj. The letter stated that Mirjiana was frustrated because
the U.S. got the wrong interpretation of the Feb 2nd event - namely that
the 'secret' was a part of it. Mirjiana states that the Gospa did NOT
want us to be led into thinking that the secrets would be revealed
soon. The focus of Feb 2nd was strickly for the 'unbelievers'. She
continued to ask for us to 'pray' and not to think of the 'secrets'.
Caritas is usually very accurate. My friend is not sure who/how the
misinterpretation was made.
I have her checking the difference between the usage of 'normal apparition'
versus 'locution' btw, because Mirjiana was only receiving locutions
from Our Lady on the 2nd of each month. The 'changes' that are being
communicated is that she is having 'normal apparitions' alike Vicka,
Ivan, Jacov and Maria aside from the confirmed change that these prayer
sessions are now opened to the public. Sr. Emmanuelle also used the
term 'normal apparition'. So although she is an inside source for us,
I've asked to have this confirmed. I'll post this information as I
receive it.
Also, I phoned Caritas, listened to their recording. Apparently there was
an 'overwhelming' response to the prayer request. Not only were churches
opened for the 5:00am time as well as for the 3-4:00 holy hour, but also
many of the Priests are said to have participated.

recently spread in a sensational way to many Medjugorje prayer groups and

| Tom, thanks for providing this information. In checking it out, I found
another internet 'bulletin' page also published by 'Informativni Centar
Mir' at: http://www.medjugorje.org/mpb36.htm. It's homepage is the
'Medjugorje Web' at http://www.medjurogje.org/index.html.
Re: .2, according to this source, Mirjana's monthly meeting with our
Lady is an 'apparition' and not 'locution' only.
