    Hi Takahashi san,

According to my book, "Understanding Japanese Information Processing",
big5 was established by the Institute of Information Industry of
Taiwan. And I found its website is www.iii.org.tw. However I could
not find any information about big5 in that web site. There is a
mail address in that website, [email protected], you can send mail
    message to ask them.

I think some books about chinese computing will have the table of
big5. But I don't have any. I think you can ask people in Digital
Taiwan if they can find the books. If I go to China Town, I will
go to Chinese book store and check to see if there is any.

    Good Luck,

| | If you would find useful a text file mapping Unicode to Big5, with character
names but not the graphic characters themselves, you can get such a table from
the Unicode Consortium site at http://www.unicode.org/. The Big5 table is at
	ftp://unicode.org/pub/UNIX/MAPPINGS/EASTASIA/OTHER/BIG5.TXT
