    Hello,
    
    DEC/EDI version v3.1A
    
    A customer send me a part of a logfile, 
    
    For information later the customer changed length of surname to
    16 characters with result that problem was gone.
    Is there a restriction on the length of the surname, I know this is
    also a problem with v2.1 but the maximum was 24 characters.
    
    Or its is something els.
