3143.0. "FAILDSREAD, error reading FTF table" by CSC32::B_ALTMIRE () Wed May 28 1997 20:19
Hi,
DECEDI V3.1A
ORACLE 7.3
Customer has a new installation. They are trying to import an D93A
EDIFACT transmission through the IMPEXP gateway. It fails and the following
error is logged in the EDI error log:
===============================================================================
Outbound Comms Controller (17158) 5/28/97 9:22:12
JOBSUB (i), job submitted to gateway
GATEWAY (i), gateway = IMPEXP
JOBID (i), job id = IMPEXP
CONNID (i), connection id = IMPORT
EDIFACT Splitter (17152) 5/28/97 9:22:14
FAILSREAD (W), failed to read table, table FTF
================================================================================
The /usr/sbin/decedi_etfsd process is running under root and from command
center table editor you can view the installed standard/versions ok. What
else can I check that might be causing this to fail?
Thanks,
Bill Altmire

| Does the profile cache build o.k. ? Does it contain profiles that require
Edifact D93A ? ( Use PCV to verify on the server ).

| Barrie,
Decedi_pcv showed no profiles in cache. Customer said rebuild cache
works ok so had him replace cache and run decedi_pcv again and this
time their profiles showed up and there were some with D93A tables
defined. Had him reimport the transmission and this time it appears to
have gotten past the FTF error and failed with something else. They
will call back if there is still a problem with the FTF table.
Thanks,
Bill
