    Hi,
    
    How can I get Cockpit/Command Center 3.1a to access a 2.1c system?
    
    I have two servers, one UNIX 3.1a system and one Alpha/VMS 2.1c system,
    and one PC with CC 3.1a. When I try to define a new server it only
    allows me to to define a UNIX 3.0 or 3.1 system.

	In V3.1A there are two Cockpit kits, one for V3 Servers and one for V2. You will need to install the V2 Cockpit.

	The V3.1A Cockpit kit contains two versions of Cockpit: V3.1A and V2.1A. You need to install V2.1A to talk to VMS servers and/or V3.1A Cockpit to talk to Unix Servers. V3.1A CommandCenter contains just the Unix Cockpit for V3 servers.

	Mark, that is (or will be) the V3.2 Cockpit. The V3.1A one could never talk to both. Pete.

	Ok - I was given bad advice. You need the V3.1A Cockpit kit. Upon installation this will permit a choice of a VMS (V2.1) or UNIX (V3.x) Cockpit. Facts checked this very morning! Mark
