Hi, When using Cockpit 2.1A with a VMS server I get an %SQL_F_SYNTAX_ERR from the following action: 1. Select the summary icon 2. Enter a date range from 1 march 1997 to 1 april 1997. A summary display of docs and tranmissions appears. 3. Double click on one of the graph bars and get a "choose summary category" window. 4.If the applid or doctype category is selected I get the %SQL_F_SYNTAX_ERROR message. If I select the all category it works ok. Also if I dont specify a date range for the summary, applid and doctype work ok. Also seems to work with only a since date/time and leaving the before date/time blank. Is this operator error or a bug? This is with windows 95 on the PC and Oracle ODBC drivers Thanks, Bill

Bill, This is a bug that has been found in Cockpit V3.1A (which now has a patch on our web site - #5). This is the same problem exhibited in Cockpit V2.1A. It is fixed in Cockpit V3.2 where the V2 & V3 Cockpits have been merged into one image. It occurs when you enter both Since and Before filter dates. Chris |
