Hello,

   I have a Customer who is trying to import files that are fixed-length 512.
 They are getting the following message:

	%DECEDIX12-E-X12_INTTRLMIS, interchange trailer missing

   This use to work when Customer was running 1.3 of DEC/EDI.  They are now
 using 2.1C on Alpha V6.2-1H2.  The document is X12 837 version 3030.

 Dir/full equals:

IMPEXP.IMPORT;1           File ID:  (4601,6,0)
Size:         1542/1542       Owner:    [1,1]
Created:   24-APR-1997 18:53:56.00
Revised:   24-APR-1997 18:56:26.00 (2)

  If record format is changed to variable this file will import OK.
 Connection syntax is set to X12.  

  I looked at note 2529 which talks about this same problem, and indicates 
 that this was fixed in 2.1A.  Is this fix missing for 2.1c and 2.1D.

Any input on this would be appreciated.

Joe,

try switching on volume Highwater marking.

If that fails, try it with V2.1D.

    Highwater marking is enabled.  I also tried this on my test system
    with Highwater enabled running 2.1D with same results.

Please try on DEC/EDI V2.1D.
