Hi! Wan't decedi to start and stop when the server comes up and goes down. Added a link in the /sbin/rc0.d/K09dedi (before objectbroker) to /sbin/init.d/dedi which does the stopping, i believe. Anyway it says so on the console and in the error.log. Added a link in the /sbin/rc3.d/S76dedi (after objectbroker) to /sbin/init.d/dedi. The messages on the console really says that the decedi is started and there is also added entries in the error.log of successfully startup but no processes in sight! You have to run decedi_start to get it up. Someone who knows how this should be done? Regards Jan-Ake [Posted by WWW Notes gateway]

Hi Jan-Ake, Have a look at the release notes page 12-2. 12.1.1 Archieving Automatic DEC/EDI Startup During System Startup If you want DEC/EDI to start up automatically during system startup, you need to edit the file /etc/inittab and add the following line to the end of it: decedi:3:wait:/sbin/init.d/dedi start >/dev/console 2>&1 Note that attempting to start DEC/EDI during system startup using a link for /sbin/init.d/dedi into /sbin/rc3.d directory is not supported and will not work.
