The testing and implementation of Digital's internal
World Wide Sales Out application requires that documents
sent to the legacy application need also to be routed to
the new system for parallel testing. Does the DECEDI 2.1C
Server have the ability to route documents to multiple
clients, based upon some information maintained in the
partner profile tables ?
If not, Could you recommend another approach that will
have similar results ?
Best Regards,

Brian,
DEC/EDI does not support carbon copying of documents (inbound or
outbound). This would have to be accomplished external to DEC/EDI.
One potential approach could be to fetch the document(s) to create the
flat file, then resubmit via Application to Application routing to the
second client the flat file. By doing this you would by-pass even the
mapping services.
This would only work if the fetch of an application file is acceptable
on the second client. It gets much more complicated if it is not
acceptable to fetch only the application file.
We have done these sort of things in the past (Dallas EDI Practice).
Feel free to contact me if you would like.
