We just received a 6200 MX without an OS installed (as ordered). After installing both NT 3.51 (build 1057) workstation or server the Mouse seems to grab the system. The Event Viewer has an error log description: "The ring buffer that stores incoming mouse data has overflowed (buffer size is configurable via the registry). Same problem with NT 4.0 (build 1381). We swapped mice Logitech, even installed a Serial Mouse, same problem. Tried to double the buffer size in the Registry to no avail. Has anyone ever run into this kind of problem before? One strange thing, I preinstalled a test Beta Version of Win97 and it seemed to work alrignt. The mouse port is on the system board (replace?). We also tried reblasting the Flash BIOS and starting from scratch there. Anyone ever have to play with the registry to get a mouse to work, I never did.?>.
