I HAVE A CUSTOMER WITH A PRIORIS ZX 5133MP(FR-A60WW-AA) AND THIS COMPUTER WAS UPGRADED TO 5133MP/2 WHIT ANOTHER BOARD FR-PCA6U-AA SO THIS EQUIPMENT HAVE TWO BOARDS FR-PCA6U-AA (5133MHZ W/ 512KB CACHE). BUT IN DESCRIPTION OF 5133MP/2(FR-A61WW-AA) THE PROCESSOR CARD IS A FR-PCA6U-AB WITH TWO PROCESSOR 5133 AND 1MB CACHE PER CPU. THIS CONFIGURATION WORK OK WHEN WE RUN A SCO UNIX BUT WHEN WE INSTALL A SMP THIS CONFIGURATION HANGS. WE TRIED TO INSTALL WNT TO TEST AND THE COMPUTER HANGS. MAYBE THIS CONFIGURATION IS WRONG. (TWO PROCESSORS IN TWO CARDS AND 512KB CACHE PER CPU). THANKS FOR ANY HELP LUIZ

There are single CPU modules..., I ran SCO, NT and OS/2 in single and triple CPU configs with no problems. Didn't try 2 singles, as we only had 1 single CPU card. Are you set for SMP 1.4, if not, set it in the SCU. McQ |
