    We have a DECpc 466D2 MTE used for HTML development.  This PC is
    configured for dual-boot for NT 3.51 and Windows95.  The video card
    detected by both NT and Windows 95 is "Cirrus Logic compatible".
    Thus the diplay is set up as 800x600 with 16 colors
    
    Question:
    
    Is it feasible to configure the display with 256 colors?
    How?
    
    We have checked the http://www.cirrus.com/support/ and Digital
    is not on the list.

    You need to identify the video card, and go to it's website for
    the appropriate drivers.  Needless to say, it looks
    like the 'VIDEO/DISPLAY' selection won't allow 256 colors
    to be chosen?

    That's the kind of help we need to identify the video card.  When we 
    opened the box and pulled the card out, we saw some chips made by TI.  
    Since this PC is used internally, maybe someone can help us to point
    out where the video card may possible come from or is there any
    specification available so we can look into.
