Is there any way to convince a Personal Workstation (Celebris 6200?) to place either the Matrox Millenium PCI video or Adaptec 2940UW IRQ at either 3 or 4? I am trying to configure a system with those boards and a USR Sportster ISDN TA and Digiboard PC8/e and can't free up a supported IRQ for the Digiboard. I managed to get the 21142 CI Ethernet adapter to move to IRQ 3, but can't get either of the other PCI devices to move down to 4. Oh yeah, this is under Windows 95 although I believe the same problem would exist under Windows NT based upon a little playing with it I have done. -tl

re: .1 Yes, but I need to find CNF files for the various devices as the one that shipped with the unit do not cover essentially any device in the unit, sigh. -tl | |||||

re .1 >>Have you tried using the ISA configuration utility... ? ICU (1) does not change any resources, just records the resource allocation, (2) is not need to be used under PnP Windows 95. |
