| Why are you installing EDO memory in a system that doesn't support it? The
FP590 takes parity or non-parity FPM 70ns memory. If you put something else
in it, and it doesn't work, don't complain to Digital.

| Excuse me. The documentation I saw stated 70ns or better memory. It did
not state that 60ns RAM would fail. AND I WAS NOT COMPLAINING!!
Thanks,
Ron

| The issue isn't 70 vs 60 ns memory, it's EDO vs. FPM memory.
The 590 takes FPM memory, not EDO memory.

1) All simms in the system should be of the same type and speed
and used in matched pairs. (dont mix edo/non or 60ns with 70ns)
2) If the above is true for your system, then make sure that
the sims arte digital qualified simms for that system. all of them.
128M should not be an issue
