Hi A customer wants to install an IDE CONTROLLER in a Prioris ZX 6000. He tried with an EISA and a PCI controllers but neither of them was recognized by the system. Are IDE controllers supported on Prioris ZX 6000 ?? Thanks in advance Diego

I guess I must ask the question........why would anyone want to degrade a high end server by putting an IDE disk in it? No IDE disk controllers are supported in the ZX6000. Tell the customer to buy another toy to play with. Sorry for being abrupt. Chet |
