7341.0. "Problem upgrading MTE to NT 4.0." by IOSG::KIRKR (I've lost my hidden agenda!) Thu Feb 06 1997 12:39
I am having a problem upgrading an MTE (with Pentium overdrive) to NT
4.0. It is currently running NT 3.51.
The 1st stage of the upgrade proceeds up to the point where the system
has to reboot. When the boot menu is displayed, the NT 4.0 upgraded option
is selected and after a few seconds the menu appears again. The system
is then stuck in this loop unless I select the NT 3.51 option.
Does anyone know what might be wrong? I removed the network device from
the NT 3.51 settings (in Control Panel -> Network) prior to the
upgrade.
Cheers,
Richard
